when you say no sound from rear speakers, do you mean the rear deck speakers (subwoofers) or the rear door speakers?

I think the first step is to narrow down the culprit: speakers/amp/headunit. you have the front door panels off ... so it is a simple matter to test the speakers with a known good audio source.
- if the speakers are bad it is easy enough to replace them.
- if the speakers are good you know the problem is the amp or head unit.

if you mean the rear deck speakers, it's unusual for them to have "no sound". when the subwoofers fail it usually the foam that deteriorates, and they rattle and buzz. However "usually" is not a diagnosis so you'd want test these speakers as well.
