I think my TECH2 low knowledge quotient is evident here. The Auto & Manual settings are found in the 'Read Values/Activate' sub menu of DICE, and these, I'm now guessing, are used when doing a system check, not programing when DICE operates normally. I'm able to activate the fans in Low, and High1 and High2. They also cycle while idling but I haven't heard them come on after shut down.(Coolant temp 201*F).
0 bars on AC pressure but presume that's 2nd to having the system evacuated. With electric's checking out and the fans cycling now and responsive to activation with TECH2 I'm thinking of doing a self fill of new coolant and borrowing a digital food scale to measure input in grams.
Not sure why the shop said no fans were running unless there's a signal input I've missed.
Is there some kind of check I can do on the evaporator valve? Is it just a mechanical orifice or is there a switch it receives? I can't see one and don't see any in the 3:2 electrical system service manual.
Thanx! This DIY is stretching my purkyngie cells and hopefully gain some neww knowledge to keep Cassidy rolling a while longer!
