Thanks all, I finally found a shop that didn't respond "We don't work on SAABS" ( with Merc's, Porsche and even Fiat's, GM's and Cadillac's in the bays). I like he wasn't rattled. I take it in next week and meanwhile I've traced all the grounds:good; all continuous hots are hot;all relays are operational; manual trigger of High and Low fans via DICE in TechII, both fans operate appropriately. Weird thing though, no matter if I trigger Fan Relay I or II via the TECHII, only the RH fan (Pass side from the drivers view) comes on and whichever I trigger second does nothing...ie: trigger Fan Relay I first=RH fan op, then nothing triggering Fan Relay II. If I trigger Fan Relay II first=RH fan comes on and nothing happens when I trigger Fan Relay I after that??? I'm flummoxed. I don't hear the fans running after shut down despite 100+ degree weather here in the NW. Coolant temp reads 97-100C via TECHII...??? New water pump and thermostat < 1000mi ago, normal running temp on dashboard and replaced temp sensor about a year ago after it intermittently dropped to zero and it hasn't done that since replacement. Anyone experience this? Could this be an issue inside DICE? The driving Fun Factor is low without the AC in these temps out here.
