A heartfelt thank you to the SAAB family for all your thoughtful replies! Your feedback is truly appreciated, and I’m considering all the options you’ve shared.

Here’s my dilemma: I own three SAABs and absolutely adore the brand. If you haven’t experienced driving a 95 Wagon, you’re missing out! It’s fantastic for both road trips and local drives, handling like a dream. The challenge lies in finding a comparable alternative at a reasonable price. A 2008 95 Wagon comes fully loaded, and finding something similar without breaking the bank is tough.

When it comes to Volvos, I’m not sold. The 2.0-liter engines feel underpowered, the interiors leave much to be desired, and the ride is more truck-like than enjoyable. Having owned two Volvos in the past, I’m not convinced by the newer models. Plus, once you factor in the standard SAAB features, Volvos get pricey for what they offer.

Since I have replaced many of the other components on the car, a re-build might work fine and have the car last another 14 years ; ) I will probably never get rid of my Viggen and will definitely rebuild that when the time comes.

Thank you again for all your thoughts, and keep them up, I am always interested in the input and will plan on making a decision very soon.

Thanks
