Sorry to hear about the problems with the current radio. I’ve never had a problem with my radio (except for needing to “marry” it to the car every time I disconnect the battery) but I do believe a replacement radio needs to be “married” to the car if you get the “radio code” message when you install it. The replacement should have been “divorced” from the previous car so it can be “married” to your car.
