I might do a new thread on this later, when I have time to address the '04 I have with this issue.
So, are folks saying you can just keep driving, so long as you don't mind having no speedometer no ABS or TCS and the odometer stays static?
I'm wondering if folks were ever tempted to just pull the wire to their ABS module, to conceal the accumulation of additional mileage? You know, the way folks used to disconnect their odometer so they could get top price when they sold the car? (one more thing to worry about).
