Maybe just a disgusting, filthy, smelly, unfortunate coincidence, but on my car the crankshaft seal began to drip shortly after switching from dino to synthetic oil, at about 64 k miles.
This is the first rear crank seal leak with most of my autos being driven well over 150 k , and all on regular oil. So I can't say I'm impressed with Mobil run out of my engine onto my drive way.
