No. The towel seems to be doing fine at protecting the seat, because most of the contact is at the back where I've got the towel. However, I might look into the rubber mat if side-to-side motion becomes a problem. Thanks for the idea!

The Peg Perego. We got that one because it fits perfectly into an ultra-light (~9lbs) Peg stroller that my wife wanted because she's really concerned about not being able to lift a heavier stroller into the trunk of her car (the 9-5 is mine).
