funny you mention the bolt...I just went from 93 passat glx to 01 9-5 wagon, and since I like to do some of the work on my car, I like the exposed bolt -- popping covers off bolts/etc (that never seem to go back on right) bugs me. K.I.S.S., IMO.
and I agree with you on dealer service...it isn't even close in my limited experience. that's the nock on the new pheaton (or whatever its called) -- that the dealers won't be able to cater to the high-end client. I think they don't even let some of the dealers sell the car!
