Just curious...has anyone looked at the circuit board after it has failed? Was the traces on the PCB fried or just a few components? I am wondering if they were just pinching too many pennies and specified a HV MOSFET that was too close to the limits of the design? If only the MOSFETs failed, it should be easy to replace with a more robust part.
If anyone has part numbers for the MOSFET, please post and I can check.
