Hi Old SAAB
Thanks for your info on the molex connectors. Does "molex" refer to the entire style of connector? My 92 900t seems to use this type pin connector (rounded pins with a corresponding female side with a latch which holds the connector halves together on the main harness.
The injection harness powering the injectors, AMM, TPS,etc. uses if I am correct an AMP style connector. It is these that I am trying to seperate the pins from the housing replace the protective boot then reassemble. AT least thats the plan. But for some reason the I havnt been able to remove the pins from the housing yet. All your ideas are greatly appreciated!
In an earlier post (2004) RS relating to another electrical issue linked the Web site EagleDay .com I just called them and they have a selection of the AMP style connectors, wire , crimping tools etc. Appears to be another good source in addition to the dealer. Thanks again jk
