Hey Justin
Did you have any luck removing the pins from the holders on your electrical project?......
I tried making a release tool to slip into the groove on the AMP style holder. This should release the tabs on the connector engaged within the holder and then while at the same time pulling gently on the corresponding wire the damn pin should (do I sound frustrated??!!!!!)easily pull out of the holder.....
It didnt...... I re-compared sizing, filed somemore and continued to admired the precision of the homemade cotter pin painstakingly filed to fit the freakin groove and sized as to not be too thick allowing room for the connector...It should work darnit!!....It didnt!
Well then realizing that there must be something being overlooked in my manufacturing execution, I caved and purchased a cnc machined tool at NAPA built by Lisle tools purposely built to render the connectors into certain submission. How could they do otherwise especially when using the "correct" TOOL?.... Well the pins are still in their respective holders..... Any other ideas aside from breaking the holder and pulling the reluctant connectors out? I must be overlooking something!! Thanks JK
