Hello,
Another possibility is the alternator/regulator getting old and tired. I would perform a load test preferably with a good carbon pile tester. The cooling fans are a large load. Also I have seen internal corrosion in the positive cable cause a quick open that stalls the car. I uses to put the blower on, defroster on and then push all the windows and see if the cable gets hot. Good Luck, Bernie at George Riggin Specialty Automotive
