I would add external star washers in the stack of wires on the chassis ground in front -- perhaps the bottom and top. Do the same for the injection grounds on the head.
You could clean and renew the contacts from the wiring harness to the fan connector -- those are in a funky place that gets exposed to some nasty stuff -- a good cleanout of the connector, scrape the contacts, and if you need to spread or shape them to have a snug fit, then do so.
I would also make an additional good solid ground strap from the alternator to the engine block. The stock one can get down to a few strands and that doesn't help matters.
Clean and crimp the field wire on the alternator or make sure it is a solid connection.
Given all that, along with the sound recommendations from RS and Bernie, you should see a difference in the behavior of the AIC.
