With the AC and fans on, the voltage measured just over 13.1. Turned off the AC/evap fan and voltage gained to 13.5.
I thought that it should have been in the 14 volt area, so perhaps there is something not quite right yet......
But, the good news is that the car essentially runs better and still charges the battery.
I'm sure this has never ever happened to anyone else, but as soon as the engine smoothed out, the exhaust pipe started to rattle. Go figure....smoother idle and then it rattles. Too freaking hot to do anything under the car with a heat index today of 113F. Now, that is toasty.
