Thanks Vern. Gotta check my ECUs and see if I've got that part number box in my stash. The block off plate for the removed EGR valve might have me fabricating a plate based on the flange dimensions of the EGR. I just tossed a '94 vert motor two weeks ago. I took the head off of it and left all the other parts. Don't know if that motor would've been equipped with that plate? The threaded steel plug to plug up the EGR tube should be easy enough to get, and a few rubber nipples to block off the unused vac lines. What about the plug that runs to the vac control valve? Does that just get left laying there? I'm going to look into these things tonight. Also, thanks "900T". That is the exact same article our mechanic, (I work at a large auto repair facility as an autobody tech. One of our buildings is a mechanic's garage, but old SAABs are foreign to them!) pulled off the interweb for me. I think my first order of business is to get rid of all that EGR crap. I like the sounds of that a lot! I'll keep you gentlemen posted on the outcome! Thanks again, Bob
