Well Vern, First let me say that was really good of you to post those bulletin pages. Thank you. I went and did my homework based on that. The block off plate for the EGR I've got from another intake. The existing fitting in the manifold for the EGR tube can be removed, welded up and reinstalled. Blocking off vac lines is simple. I'm guessing I'm leaving the pigtail from the EGR hanging once removed and also the same scenario with the vac distribution block on the L/S inner fender well? Those things are a breeze. A torch will help with that pipe removal from the exhaust manifold. The problem is: I've got 6 ECUs...and none match up. 1994 turbo vert:4-300-083. 1994 Comm Ed vert:9-128-117. Another 90 SPG:9-119-454. 1991 MCY vert:9-119-454. 1988 turbo vert:75-36-709....and an unmarked box:4-300-083. All 5-speed boxes. Where the hell am I gonna find this exclusive, 02-42-172 ECU? I thought that it would be an easy grab, but I guess not. I believe I'm going on a hunting expedition on the interweb starting tonight. wish me luck! Bob
