You should ask Autonoel on that ebay site mentioned by Charles about the fuel pressure test gauge for the CIS. You will need the one that has the operating pressure and control pressure like what is shown in the Bentley. Your operating pressure is basically fuel pump pressure, and for CIS it is a high number in comparison to the later model LH Bosch fuel injection pumps. Do not get them mixed up or you will not have enough pressure for the fuel distributor to operate.

Plan on seeing about 80 psi, I think the number is in Bentley, I can't recall what it is exactly. So, you have to have the rotor type pump like that 984 I think you mentioned in previous notes. Return pressure is negligible, not a factor, nor the line size back to the tank.

When you find out that your fuel accumulator has gone bad and leaking / spewing fuel on the floor ( ask me how I know ) you can source a Volvo one, but will have to rig up the fittings to get fuel in and out of the device. It's located near the tank, under the car, in your case, perhaps not rusted to the frame. You won't find the Saab version, so if you plan to keep the car, I would source a Volvo one, or even Porsche, they use similar parts in the same era. The Bosch numbers of course are different as the inlet / outlets are not like Saab OE, but the function inside the accumulator is basically the same.

You are in for a long haul, the suggestion about starting at the tank, and moving forward, is probably the wise choice to recommission the fuel system from being contaminated by "modern" fuels.

Good luck, you will need some of that to get this running in a reliable manner.

I think I have several sets of the injection lines that go from the fuel distributor to the injectors if I recall. Mine is a turbo, but I think the line sets are the same for your car.
