Engine running very poorly with mystery problems

I have a 1987 Saab 16 V Turbo. It starts right away however it has poor idling and it is rough running like it is missing. It idles about 700 - 800 RPM. I cannot drive the car because anytime I put a load on it the engine will die. In neutral, I can rev it up and it seems to smooth out however if I take my foot off of the accelerator it will almost die and will struggle but usually resumes a rough idle. I put noid lights on the injector electrical connectors and each injector is getting a firing signal. What is very strange is if I disconnect the injector connectors one at a time while it is running, number 1, 2 and 4 seem to have no effect on the running of the engine, the engine speed stays the same. However, if I disconnect number 3 injector connector the car dies immediately. Another strange thing is there is no movement of the Turbo / APC gauge in the car when idling or increasing speed. The needle stays in the middle of the gauge no movement at all. I did a vacuum check on the hose going to the Turbo / APC gauge from the engine compartment. It holds vacuum and the gauge needle will go down. So the hose and gauge is apparently working. Does anybody have any thoughts on what might be causing these issues?
