The compressor is the Four Seasons SD7H15 (also known at a more base level as the Sanden 4434) from RockAuto.

My system was completely dry as everything is new (except for the evaporator) so I added 6 ounces of oil (thinking that was the correct amount). But in the Bentley manual I'm seeing 4.9 ounces as the designated amount. I drained a little more than an ounce from the compressor so I THINK I'm at 5 ounces now in the system.

I did try revving the engine while attempting to charge the system, thinking that a big pressure difference would trigger something but no; the pressures didn't change much (hardly any) with higher RPMs.
