I have checked on TSI Socket as you suggest : When Key on ...
Pin 2-1 & Pin 2-4 got same around 11.8V, same as I test on fuse 3 vs body ground. So it looks like my ignition switch is ok as you said?
Now the real problem the car still won't start. It used to run fine before many weeks earlier but lately a couple weeks before, after a fresh start it die after idle like 5 min by itself and never start again. Tried start for weeks but no avail, until last week it start and die again just 2-3 min later and never since it start.
Since it's '93 lucas system I already swap 14CU box, AMM but no luck. Fuel pump prime when Key on 3 sec I was heard. I even swapped the correct ignition amplifier module but again no start.
Test ignition coil ohm was ok, and it got voltage when key was on. But no spark on starting. Now remaing culprit to me is the hall sensor. Before I order the distributor with the hall effect If you have any advice please kindly chime in. Thanks again Bernie! Appreciated for your help.
Best Regards,
Colin
