It could also be the switch on the top radiator hose.

You can jump it by connecting the two wires to each other to test.

Not sure why there's no heat though unless the temp switch arm that connects to the valve is off as someone else suggested

Another option although not likely, is that that the heater valve was leaking and someone connected the two heater hoses together, usually with a copper "U" to bypass it and deal with it later. My fan belts snapped once and smashed the hoses and broke the valve and I bypassed it that way. After replacing the valve I still carry the U I made in case of an emergency.

You can re-connect it through the left speaker hole.
