I did confirm that the rod would pop off the dash side when I try to adjust it. I removed the speaker and radio and was able to get some pliers on the silver valve stem at the fire wall. It was very hard to turn. I sprayed PB Blaster on it and am letting it soak. Is this valve easily replaceable? Thoughts on a plan of action??
