Thank you! I also found posts for reverse bleeding.
After prybars and other various tools and blocks, I was able to get the pressure plate fingers depressed enough to get a spark plug wire in. And with a few bloody knuckles, the assembly reluctantly came out. It wasn't easy, that's for sure. I dread getting all the parts back in- slave, release bearing, pressure plate and disk. I'm going to try hooking them together with a cable tie or two, as others recommend. That's a job for Saturday.
The flat part of the release bearing fits against the slave right? And the conical nose pushes against the fingers? I'm 95% sure that's how it came out.
