when I converted my '88 9kT about 6 years ago. Had AT overhauled but failed during a 3000 km trip and resulted in a long tow. Parts car a must. Now you have all the required info on Saab site, back then nobody mentioned A vs M center support bearing housing and I experienced the problem on I-15 in Southern Utah and again in Virgin River Canyon. If both vehicles have an electric speed transmitter no problem with cc. Generally a simple but time consuming job.
