I have a 9000 Aero and a 900 SPG. Before when gas was a little bit cheeper (its all relative), I would get about 25-27 mpg on my SPG. Thats with full boosting very often. When gas prices skyrocketed, I decided to see what the best mpg I could get. I pumped my tires up to 40 psi, tuned up my car, and advanced my timing to about 19 BTDC. Then I drove a full tank while staying out of the boost most of the time. I averaged 33 mpg.
I have a 2004 Honda Accord V6. I would think that with as advanced and efficient as that engine is, it would get better gas mileage than my 900 SPG running full boost. But it doesn't. The best milage that I get from my honda is still not as good as the worse milage I get from my Saab!
