i tried driving a couple other makes of cars, and realized that i could never own one; well, i could own one but i would never be happy. they were nice enough, and newer, and had "bells and whistles," but i just want my 9K Aero. even with all her quirks. and there are many. have owned 12 cars, and the previous 11 were only for a max of 2 years each til i found the 9000, the only one that came close was a peugeot 405. i'm going to follow-up on other leads for the head gasket and heater core, and might check out the tiger-something bondo. i wasn't going to do the rear shocks unless the car was worth repairing, but after driving an '02 9-5 Aero wagon for 5 days, i feel the 9000 is worth repairing :) hope your recovery makes you stronger than ever (like lance armstrong...)
