Two days before Christmas in 2013 my daily driver C-900 caught on fire, so I was without transportation to get back and forth to work. A "friend" of mine on facebook mentioned he had a 900 for sale, but the problem was the car was 2500 miles away. A week later I was on a plane to California to buy the car sight unseen from a man I had never met. He picked me up at the airport, we drove to his house and drank beers, and I spent the night in his spare bedroom. The next day I hopped in the car and started the drive home. It took 6 days, and I had a few minor problems along the way, but I made it home(Ohio). I drove it daily for six years without many issues with it. The car is parked in my driveway, but it's now my third car.
