Toomany, I think you need to re-think your Brake system strategy. Look perhaps on the performance board. I'm not a fan of any brake upgrades on Saab 99's. They don't need it. I'm currently upgading to 4 wheel discs on an antique American car, but it will have common available parts with an adjustable proportioning valve. I surely won't drive it until it is correctly finished and safe. Are you well insured? When I was younger, I did some wacky stuff, like plugging rear lines to not do the needed drum work. but only for short term stupid reasons. You make it sound like a very permanent solution in your post.
