Hey Rowan, I am pretty sure the cold start injector is just that- it should never come on other than upon start up. The WOT switch allows the fuel system to operate in closed loop (or is it open loop?), and ignore the lambda sensor... allowing for slight fuel enrichment. The cold start injector is not placed in a location that is conducive to even fuel atomization- cylinders one and two dont get as much as three and four.
