kansas - thanks. The test is at 15 mph and 25 mph (2nd and 3rd)under load on rollers. I have ordered a 160 and 155 main jet for my 34ICH (came with a 165 plus a 40 (smallest) idle jet) and plan to twidde the idle mixture screw a little. My allowable limit is 4.7% and I have been between 5.1 and 7.2 (the limits and readings are very close for the two speeds). Plus I drive between 4500 and 8000 ft elevation and am disappointed in my mileage, so I am going to try the smaller jets.
I put 4-5k miles/year on the car and the ignition tune is quick and cheap, so I'm not yet sold on the breakerless ignition. My only other experience with an aftermarket system was years ago and the reliability sucked - the brain died several times leaving me truly stranded, so I went back to the prehistoric ignition and never got stranded again.
