I apologize for my ignorance, I assumed that the coil pack that I found was indeed the DI that I have read about in many other posts.
Do these coil packs have a tendency to go bad in the V6's, especially after a timing belt change? If so, what is their normal life span? I have about 123000 miles on the car now, and I believe it is the original part.
Thanks for the reference to the crankshaft sensor info, that may be another possibility. Would this have more of a tendency to go bad after a timing belt change?
I will try the coil pack tomorrow and hopefully it will do the trick. BTW, is 80 USD a decent price for a new one of these? (I was comparing it to a Bosch DIC, 260-280 USD)
I would just like to say that everyone has been extremely helpful here and I will continue to refer to this BB frequently to attempt (with my limited knowledge) to help other people out.
Many thanks,
Chris in NY
