sorry I joined in late on this one. The shrader valve is where they check the fuel pressure. Put on some goggles and on a COLD engine push down on the valve to release the pressure, it'll squirt about 1/2 teaspoon of gas. Then turn the key but don't crank, to re-charge the pressure, turn key off. push down on the valve again, if it squirts, the fuel pump is charging. Get a shrader tool (1$) and make sure the valve is tight and not losing pressure, you don't have a gas smell, do you?
FPR is a fairly easy DIY, clean throttle body and IAC at the same time b/c of access issues. I don't recall any notes of FPR failure on the V6, only on the 4, I took mine apart at about 100K (preventively replaced looking for hard start cause) and it was still rock solid.
I'm liking the crank position sensor, based on what I've read so far here, run a search here for it, I don't think it's all that hard to replace, there's also a camshaft position sensor but I don't know how that fits in.
Youve got crank, spark, fuel, and air. There's also a mass airflow sensor (?) in the black intake tube. I would also just check all the wiring connetections under the hood to make sure they're hooked up, like the airflow sensor.
Good luck.
