You chose a color that is the most difficult to maintain. I would start by rinsing the surface dirt off with lots of clean low pressure water. Then proceed with a bucket full of nice soapy water (soap designed for washing cars ie not dish washing liquid that strips off wax) using a sheepskin wash mit (rinse frequently). Wash the tires and wheels first using a soft bristle brush, be careful what you use on the aluminum wheels treat them the same as the car (waxing the wheels insures dirt and brake dust doesn't adhere permanently).
Dry the car with either a chamois (can be natural or synthetic) but make sure you wet down the chamois first that way you don't risk scatching the paint. I always do the windows first to wet down the chamois. I also recently discovered a device called a "California Water Blade" squeegee made from surgical grade silicon that works great on removing large water droplets.
Lastly keep in mind that you should wash your car in the shade (early morning or late afternoon is best). You don't want your car baking in the hot sun while your trying to wash her down.
