Well, that works if the mirror will adjust enough. For me, on my NG900, it did not. I could not get the mirror to swing far enough to the left to eliminate the blind spot when I had the seat positioned all the way back (which is where I needed to have it.) A tip from a Saab tech had me insert washers behind the motor mount to move the glass out a bit - this allowed it to swing a bit more - but not enough. The aspheric mirror was just the ticket for me.
