The NG900/9-3 mirror is easy to install. Tilt the glass as far as it will go in towards the car. Insert your fingers on the outer edge of the glass and pull - it will unsnap from the bracket. Disconnect the heater wire, attach the wire to the new glass, and push it in place until it snaps.
Supposedly, you can insert a screwdriver through the hole in the bottom of the mirror to "disconnect" the mechanism, but I could never get that to work.
