Died and will not start Posted by BrainPharmer [Email] (#3132) [Profile/Gallery] (more from BrainPharmer) on Thu, 17 Feb 2011 15:37:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Several weeks ago I was scraping ice and snow off the widows and windshield which took about 25 minutes and I had the engine running the whole time. I was almost finished and the engine quit running w/o a warning noise or sputter or vibration, it just quit. I tried starting it again after a minute and it sounded normal and like the engine was going to start but it didn't. Since then, I have charged the battery and made sure it had full charge, had new spark plugs put in and switched for the older ignition cassette that was still working when I replaced it with the newer one. Same result, almost starting, but it doesn't and the battery warning light stays on and the oil icon illuminates on some of my start attempts. Any advice would be appreciated
