Dean,
Apart from many other vehicles I have worked on, with the last five cars we have owned, all developed leaks after changing to synthetic. As I have stated, the degree of leak is often more of a weep than a leak which causes dripping. Many people may not classify this as a leak if there is not an actual deposit forming under the car.
You also seem to fail to spot that I still advocate the use of synthetic oil over mineral or semi-synthetic despite the problems it can cause. Your figure of 50% bears no relation to any comment previously made.
I'm surprised at the nature of your post as you usually post to help, not to attack. Had you been over in the UK, I'd have happily shown you evidence of the problem.
It may be that you have different oil formulations in the US and they may behave in a different way. Other factors such as the type of journey undertaken, service intervals etc will also vary from Europe.
Looking back at previous posts from you, it seems that you almost deny a problem that does exist which really isn't helping anyone who has it.
