very simple and classy design, similar to our Saabs.
Oris is one of the few watch makers that makes a small/medium size watch for men with day/date. The only drawback is it is very thick and weights a ton as it is a mechanical watch. I am more used to the light weight thin watches with day/date. I can find thin watches with only day, such as Skagen, but not with date also. If someone knows who makes a nice small/medium size thin and light watch, let me know.
The el cheapo Casio digital I have been wearing dates back to the '80s but it is thin and has a metal wrist band, very accurate and lasts forever except the chrome coating is wearing off definitely not good for public viewing.
Next time if you have a chance to visit Hong Kong (now part of China), go to a reputable watch store and get the real thing with world wide warranty. You usually get a very good discount (about 30% or more from list) on fancy watches. Yes, you need to bargain as well but the starting price is quite reasonable.
