But I definitely prefer living here. It's so much greener and there's more oxygen because of the plant life and the lower altitude, and it isn't as rainy as it used to be. Plus in every direction there's something to explore: mountains to the east, waterfalls and camping to the south, the coast to the west and Washington and Canada to the north. Downtown Portland is what originally sold me when I chose to live here. There's plenty to do, but it's a well-designed city that feels cozy and comfortable. I've lived here 11 years now, and will be staying here the rest of life too, with my love KB.
