wicked witch thereof *hehe* I dont blame her too much. Imagine how difficult it might be to resist the money/fame grubbing, immoral fantasy life of "SHE/HE who dies with the most Stock Options Wins" attitude in those circles? Besides, what else would you expect from a Medievalist? Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition!!! Off with their heads! Let them eat cake!! *hehe*
I was watching CNBC the other day & Maria Bartiromo was sneering at some guy (who, of course, doesn't work for GE) saying "do you really think 10% growth year over year is enough???" I was simply appalled. Cancer grows uncontrolled and exponentially. There is no reason why organic, slower-paced growth shouldn't satisfy anyone with long-term interests. The amoral greed-related problems today like the link below just astound my sense of human decency. It is a good thing I don't expect decency from other people or the organizations they create in the almighty dollar's name. *hehe* sorry for the rant!
