I always have had v-6's and one time an eight cylinder. Five years ago I bought the Saab and the 99 9-3 base auto has enough power viggen exhaust, K&N filter, upgraded stereo etc.(Sure I always would like more) our 04 Linear also has good power(living in florida) but even on trips to New York.
I love the fuel economy of the saab 4 especially the linear. We got a Linear with some upgrades like 16 inch wheels, climate control, power seat, and a few others and that car is a good car. I wish that the linear had a moonroof and upgraded stereo but? If I could buy a sporthatch with similar options for about the same price I would be pleased. Part of me always "joneses" for an aero or viggen but then you have the costs associated with upgraded brakes, wheels, tires etc.
This is from a "poor" teacher who car is a main extravagence. So that is why I will probably buy a 2.0 version with some upgrades. Anybody else have the same rational?
