I would buy a SAAB 9x today...doesn't seem posible under the thumb of daddy GM. My new 3 is small on the outside, and bigger on the inside, has a "real" hatch, handles and steers like a c900...my wife even thinks it looks "Saaby"...and she doesn't share my "afliction"! I think if the Swedes were still in charge we would have a car like the 3....but much nicer..the 9x!
Instead we have 2 nice luxo sedans with the key between the seats and a Saab badge, and a very nice Subaru that is way too small for a big guy like me....but NOT the soul. Thanks GM for "saving" Saab.
I'm keeping my 9000 too...hopefully for a very long time. I hope the 3 will see me thru til GM tires of our brand. Someone in the auto world must recognize what's going on here, and have the guts to turn the ship around.
Surely the 9000 ISN'T the last great Saab!
