The guy I spoke with over at the dealership said it was hit front and rear, had fire damage and had water damage (as a result of the fire). I called Saab and they said there will be no warranty on the car once they get word from MD that its got a salvage title. You'll likely be able to get full coverage insurance on it however.
From my perspective, at 12,800, its not nearly cheap enough. 9'3 SE's are going for really cheap these days and while this one has low miles, it's led an incredibly difficult life. There's a silver '00 SE in Manassas for under 8K with less than 70K miles and it has a clear title. I'd rather save the $5K on the price and get a clean title and have $5K in my pocket for repairs, maintenance, upgrades and just suck up the mileage difference...
If the one at the Infiniti dealership was $5-6K, I'd buy it, but despite the artificially high retail value of the car (somewhere between 16 and 20K), you can get 'em for less if your patient.
