they do have soft curly hair, which you can keep closely trimmed. they also tend to eat anything and everything including garbage, so that can cause problems for them as well.
sweet dogs, training is a must for them otherwise you'll be trying to catch them for hours. they can be agressive to small kids who may tend to not be as gentle to them. they do seem to like water and mud, so be aware of that if you are bringing them in from outside/dog parks straight into house. mark :-)
