I live in Maine, we have lots of cars driving around with Canadian plates and Canadian drivers. I have never observed any qualities that make their driving stand out over US drivers on US roads. They are just as likely to be driving the RV that won't pull over as anyone else. (or just as likely to be putting along in the left lane on an interstate)
We all complain about RVs that go slow and won't pull over, people not watching for faster drivers, and everyone including Peter needs that opportunity to vent once in a while. I watch Braniac which is a british male-oriented show, and they show even more violent disdain for RVs and campers on the road than we do.
I suspect the reason the motorcycles with trailers pulling over for Peter was not due to the fact it was in Canada. They were probably experienced and alert motorcyclists, which is universal survival mechnism that doesn't as often kick in for car drivers. They have to be on the lookout as they don't have reinforced doors, airbags, seatbelts, etc.. I doubt an 18-yo invincible youth would be hauling a small trailer on his motorcycle.
