it's actually not. but then again not much "shows up" on windows. hardware gets discovered, but you may need to supply the driver.

umm, did you note I was talking about three site too? and the ability to move from one to the other and still have internet access and print capabilty. oh, and all are protected from the rest of the world, don't broadcast the SSID, maintain a MAC address table that you need to be on to play, and other stuff too.

oh, the MAC computer plays in this environment too.

I didn't want to go into the NAS device I have, that would make it look complicated. The NAS box is not required to print.

I *also* didn't talk about the high gain antenna I put on the WAP upstairs, it as line of sight across the street to my neighboors house where he as a bridge. Yep my neighboor gets broadband from me for free. Laptops anywhere in the house? Pretty cool. I can do mine anywhere in a 2 Acre area, besides in my house and my neighboors. That way I can do work on my cars and have the laptop there and pull up diagrams or procedures. technology, what a wonderful thing...
