yes, the planet has had many colder and warmer periods. But it was a lot different when humans were just another critter trying to outwit sabertooth cats regarding which was going to be dinner.

Now with huge coastal cities, growing populations, diminishing resources and more rapid temperature increases than in past periods, climate change is more important than it was in earlier times.

Forget Wikipedia and the mass media. Go do some real research and you find that whether human caused or not, a warmer planet causes some significant problems, and some come at incredible human and economic costs.

You say the glaciers melted 30 years ago. Hmm. I'm 58, so I guess I missed that. Check your facts. And why is the northern polar icepack melting?
