I, myself, am back in school for my second bachelors. The things that I have found to be the most important are family, job happiness and location. Though this is 13 years after my first degree and I've lived in a bunch of different states and I wasn't one to think that family was important. I've had two jobs in 13 years that I liked and only my latest which I've enjoyed going to. That is a huge mental weight off my shoulders.
My advice, figure out where you want to live and why. Friends and family, hobbies, travel opps or what not. Then concentrate in that area, do many informational interviews or get a job that gets you into the area and gives you exposure to the area and use it as a stepping stone.
It is a tough time so use your current job as an island of financial support and keep looking for the next job. Network through informational interviews or real interviews and something will pop up. Maybe you will find a place that you love and they might help you with your master's.
I learned the hard way why the comic Dilbert was funny. I've had the finger pointing and it isn't worth it. You are better than that.
Good Luck, Congrats and go out and make some money and pay taxes so we can get this country moving again.
