The once ultra-cool brand has been reduced to a slightly better than average brand. This is too bad. I don't think that is all GM'S fault though. Saab was in rough shape and may have disappeared sooner if GM didn't step in. This would have left us without the 9-5, which is a decent well built car that does have some true Saab blood. Most other GM era models were pretty bland, if not terrible. The Turbo X is a possible exception.
I differ slightly from the above poster and out of loyalty, cannot brush this off as survival of the fittest. IT DOES SUCK. If K-Saab does go through (and I am concerned) I feel they need some cool models and they need them quickly. Diesel, Diesel Diesel. Maybe fancy hybrid stuff later, but the diesel engine exists in warehouses right now, and they need to hurry!
Just enjoying giving my opinion, and it is just that, an opinion. Thanks, Mike
